RULES OF THE JUNGLE
- CLEAN CLOTHING - Clothing must not be visibly dirty and must not smell in a way that would be unpleasant for training partners.
- CLEAN FEET - Without clean feet, entry onto the mats is prohibited.
- NO BARE FEET OUTSIDE THE MATTED AREA - Outside the matted area, sandals or other appropriate footwear must be worn.
- DO NOT LEAVE TRASH BEHIND - Any trash (tape, empty bottles, etc.) must be taken off the mats; it makes things easier for everyone.
- LONG AND LOOSE HAIR - Hair must be tied or secured so that it does not bother training partners.
- TRIMMED FINGERNAILS AND TOENAILS
- HEALTH - For safety reasons, participation in training will not be allowed if the head coach decides that overall health or any skin condition could endanger other practitioners.
- RESPECT AND GOODWILL - The coach’s instructions must be followed and other practitioners must be treated with respect. The goal is to train BJJ together.
- HIERARCHY - During training and sparring, higher belts have priority over lower belts.
- WE RECOMMEND WEARING A RASHGUARD OR CLEAN T-SHIRT UNDER THE GI - Consideration for training partners is expected.
VIOLATION OF THE RULES WILL RESULT IN EXCLUSION FROM TRAINING – THE COACH'S DECISION IS FINAL!
